CLASSES PROVIDED
Aerial Lift
4 hours of instruction that include classroom, testing, and hands-on evaluation. In compliance with, and required by OSHA 1910.67 and ANSI 92.5 standards. 3 Year Certification.
Annual Fire Extinguisher
Required by OSHA 1910.157 and NFPA, this classroom and hands-on class on fire extinguishers is required annually. If your employee has a fire extinguisher, they must take this class in order to operate it while they are working.
Basin United Day 1
8 hour safety, orientation, and awareness class developed by Permian Basin Oil and Gas Operators for Permian Basin Contractors and their employees. This is required for all employees that work in the Permian Basin.
Basin United Day 2
8 hour leadership class developed by Permian Basin Oil and Gas Operators. This class is required for all contractor employees that serve in any leadership capacity. Prerequisites required are Basin United Day 1, or Safeland.
Confined Space Entrant and Attendant
This 2 hour class includes instruction and training with testing in the roles of confined space entrant and attendant. This training is required by law for all individuals who will be performing these functions on any confined space work. Compliant with 29 CFR 1910.146.
Confined Space Supervisor
This 2 hour intensive class includes instruction and training validated through hands on evaluation and is for employees that will serve as a Confined Space Supervisor. Individuals will receive hazard assessment, JSA creation, permit writing, respiratory requirements and atmospheric monitoring training. This training is required by law for employees serving as Confined Space Supervisors under 29 CFR 1910.146. Additional requirements addressed from 1910.134, 1910.147, and 1910.132.
Competent Heavy Equipment Operator
5 hours of classroom instruction and testing with hands-on evaluation in heavy equipment (skidsteer, backhoe, trackhoe, etc.). Satisfies requirements under 29 CFR 1926.28.
CPR / First Aid
This 4 hour life saving class includes instruction, testing, and hands on training. Employees will learn rescue breaths, compressions, the Heimlich maneuver, basic first aid, AED use, plus so much more. This certification is a requirement for employees that work in the field if they are further than 10 minutes from a hospital or clinic. Certification is required every 2 years.
Fall Protection
Injuries and fatalities from falls lead OSHA's citation list each year. This class will give your employees the needed awareness and hands on training to be able to keep themselves safe and protected. From identification of fall hazards to the use, selection, and inspection of Fall Arrest Systems, this class satisfies the requirements from 29 CFR 1926.501, 29 CFR 1910.125, and ANSI Z359.
Fit Test Qualitative
Required by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134. Available for all makes of half mask/ face respirator models. This certification is required for an employee to be able to don an APR respirator at work. Certification is valid for 1 year.
Fit Test Quantitative
Required by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134. Available for all makes of full face (SAR) respirator models. This certification is required for an employee to be able to don a SAR respirator at work. Certification is valid for 1 year.
Forklift
4 hours of instruction that include classroom, testing, and hands-on evaluation. In compliance with and required by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.67 and ANSI h standards. 3 Year Certification.
H2S Awareness
This 1 hour class is required annually and teaches employees the basic hazards associated with Hydrogen Sulfide. Required by all operators in the Permian basin, this minimum awareness only class satisfies OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1200, and Texas Railroad Commission Rule 36.
H2S CLEAR Z390.2017
This extensive 4 hour course compliant with ANSI Z390.2017 will give employees the knowledge they need to be able to work safely around Hydrogen Sulfide and Sulfur Dioxide. Hands on learning exercises, case study evaluations, and standardized testing ensure that employees will leave this class with the skill set they need to stay safe around these deadly gases. This training is required annually. Satisfies OSHA's 29 CFR 1910.1200, ANSI Z390.2017, and Texas Railroad Commission Rule 36.
Hot Work / Fire Watch
This class is compliant with 1910.252 and will teach employees how to recognize hazards that could create flammable or combustible environments. Atmospheric monitoring, correct permit writing, and the regulations for working around potentially flammable sources will all be learned. Hands on evaluations with testing will ensure individuals are fully compliant and ready to work.
Lockout Tagout (LOTO)
Employees will learn the hazards associated with energy isolation, how to properly perform Lockout Tagout, and how to protect themselves in the work place. This class is required by law for all employees who are involved in Lockout Tagout operations. Satisfies 29 CFR 1910.147.
Medical Evaluation
A medical evaluation is legally required for all employees that use a respirator at work. Satisfies 29 CFR 1910.134.
Respiratory Protection
Under OSHA's Respiratory standard, employees are required to receive training in how to use, inspect, don, doff, and troubleshoot any respirator that they will be using during work to protect themselves from hazards. Satisfies requirement from OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134
Safeland
8 hour safety orientation and awareness course that is required by most operators. This class reviews and discusses the majority of common hazards, regulations, and best practices that can be found while working in the oil and gas industry.
Safety Meetings (General)
This 1 hour meeting occurring monthly focuses on keeping your employees compliant with continuous training. Topics are scheduled throughout the year to address specific concerns and / or common issues that your employees may face when it comes to keeping safe. Completely customizable and tailored to each specific customer.
